Instruction Manual
Complete guide to growing, production, packaging, parcels, retail and international expansion.
1. Welcome to Higher Things
Higher Things is a business-management, production and logistics game where you build a growing product operation from your Warehouse into a network of retail locations.
The core progression loop is Grow โ Harvest โ Manufacture โ Package โ Fulfil โ Deliver โ Earn โ Upgrade โ Expand. As you gain levels, new strains, products, upgrades and locations become available.
2. Basic Controls
Walking
Use W / A / S / D or the Arrow Keys to move. On touch devices, use the on-screen movement joystick.
Interacting
Move close to an interactive object, character, door, counter, machine or vehicle. The INTERACT button tells you what is nearby. Use it for doors, grow boxes, machines, collecting products, stocking counters, vehicles, upgrades and airport travel.
Inventory
Tap the ๐ Inventory icon to see what your character is carrying, including Flower, Raw Myco, finished products, packaging and parcels.
World Shop Stock
Tap the ๐ World icon beside Inventory to inspect the Flower and Raw Myco currently stocked at the Retail Store, Thailand and Amsterdam.
3. Driving and GPS
W / Up: accelerate. S / Down: brake/reverse. A / Left: steer left. D / Right: steer right. Touch controls provide the same functions.
While driving, open GPS to select available destinations such as the Warehouse, Stash Store, Stay Plugged, Post Office, Retail Store, Reviews Office, Airport or Coffee Shop.
4. The Warehouse
The Warehouse is the centre of your operation. It contains Cannabis growing, Myco growing, production, finished-product storage, packaging storage, parcel preparation, upgrades, automation and vehicle logistics.
The main Warehouse inventory is separate from the passive shop inventory. Products stocked into Retail, Thailand or Amsterdam do not consume unrelated Warehouse stock.
5. Growing Cannabis
Enter the Cannabis Grow Room, interact with an available grow position, choose an unlocked strain and start the grow. Once complete, harvest it for production, parcels or retail Flower stock.
| Level | Cannabis strain |
|---|---|
| 1 | Northern Lights |
| 20 | Girl Scout Cookies |
| 40 | Gelonade |
| 60 | Super Boof |
| 80 | Runtz |
| 120 | Toad Venom |
6. Growing Myco
Use the Myco Grow Room in the same way: select a growing position, choose an unlocked strain, wait for it to finish and harvest it. Raw Myco can be sold directly through the three passive retail locations or used in production.
| Level | Myco strain |
|---|---|
| 1 | Liberty Caps |
| 20 | Golden Teacher |
| 40 | Fly Agaric |
| 60 | Knobby Tops |
| 80 | Penis Envy |
| 120 | Jedi Mind Fck |
7. Production
Raw materials can be turned into higher-value products in the Production Room. The production systems cover Flower, Pre-Rolls, Edibles and manufactured Myco products.
Pre-Rolls
Each Cannabis strain can become its matching strain-specific Pre-Rolls. Parcel Pre-Rolls require the matching branded tin.
Edibles
Products include Lego Gummies, Mini Lego Men, Cookie, Cookie Monster, Coco Havana, Sweet Smoke and RSO. Edibles do not use Flower jars or Pre-Roll tins.
Manufactured Myco
Products include Wallop Block, Bear Block, Mega Man, Healthy Honey, Micro-Dose Capsules and Lego DMT.
8. Packaging โ Important
Flower and Pre-Rolls use strain-specific branded packaging. The packaging loop is:
Stash Bear โ Stay Plugged โ Branded Packaging โ Product Pickup โ Parcel
Stash Bear / Stash Store
Stash Bear sells Empty Flower Jars for ยฃ5 each and Empty Pre-Roll Tins for ยฃ4 each.
Stay Plugged
Take empty jars and tins to Stay Plugged to brand them for a specific unlocked Cannabis strain. Branding costs ยฃ2 per jar or tin.
Stock up in advance
You can and should stock up on branded jars and tins. You do not need to wait for an order. Buy batches of empty packaging, brand several for the strains you use most, and keep a reserve ready for future parcel orders.
When you want to pick up Flower or Pre-Rolls for a parcel, the correct matching branded jar or tin must already be in your personal inventory before you pick up the product.
Flower example
If you need 2 Runtz Flower, first put 2 Runtz branded Flower jars in your inventory. Only then pick up the 2 Runtz Flower.
Pre-Roll example
If you need 3 Gelonade Pre-Rolls, first put 3 Gelonade branded Pre-Roll tins in your inventory. Only then pick up the Gelonade Pre-Rolls.
Correct branded packaging first โ Product second.
Packaging requirements
- Flower: matching strain-specific branded Flower jar.
- Pre-Rolls: matching strain-specific branded Pre-Roll tin.
- Edibles: no Flower jar or Pre-Roll tin required.
- Raw Myco: no branded Cannabis packaging required.
- Manufactured Myco: no Flower jar or Pre-Roll tin required.
9. Customer Parcels
The Warehouse parcel system generates customer requests containing combinations of Flower, Pre-Rolls, Edibles and manufactured Myco products. Read the order, collect the required packaging first where necessary, pick the products, pack the parcel and load it into the parcel delivery van.
The normal parcel van starts with space for 3 parcels. Van Parcel Space upgrades increase this.
Successful deliveries earn cash, XP and reputation.
10. Smokey Vibes
Smokey Vibes can send a special daily review request. Follow his requested pick list, including the normal branded packaging rules for Flower and Pre-Rolls, then deliver the completed review parcel to the Reviews Office.
11. Retail Store
The Retail Store sells only Flower and Raw Myco through its passive counter system. Stock the physical Flower Counter and Myco Counter. There is no till interaction required.
Retail sells 5 individual items per real-world minute, which is exactly 1 item every 12 seconds. Every completed sale removes exactly one unit from one available Flower/Myco stack and pays 1.25ร base value.
12. Retail Van
Use the Retail Van to transport bulk Flower and Raw Myco to the Retail Store, Thailand and Amsterdam. Its cargo is separate from the normal parcel van.
You may keep stock loaded in the Retail Van when travelling internationally. You do not need to unload it at Home Airport before boarding.
13. Home Airport and International Travel
For an international stock run: load the Retail Van, drive to Home Airport, exit the van, enter the airport and board the aircraft.
When you arrive in Thailand or Amsterdam, the Retail Van and its cargo are available at the destination airport. Drive to the Coffee Shop and stock the relevant Flower/Myco counters.
When you board the plane back to Home Airport, the Retail Van follows you home and is placed in a safe, driveable position in the Home Airport car park.
14. Thailand Expansion
Thailand becomes available at Level 80 and costs ยฃ400,000. The Thailand Coffee Shop sells only Flower and Raw Myco.
Thailand sells 8 individual items per minute โ exactly 1 item every 7.5 seconds โ at 1.60ร base value.
15. Amsterdam Expansion
Amsterdam becomes available at Level 120 and costs ยฃ1,000,000. Level 120 also unlocks the final Cannabis and Myco strains.
Amsterdam sells 10 individual items per minute โ exactly 1 item every 6 seconds โ at 2.00ร base value.
16. Passive Shop Sales Summary
| Location | Unlock | Cost | Rate | Interval | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retail | Early game | โ | 5/min | 12 sec | 1.25ร |
| Thailand | Level 80 | ยฃ400,000 | 8/min | 7.5 sec | 1.60ร |
| Amsterdam | Level 120 | ยฃ1,000,000 | 10/min | 6 sec | 2.00ร |
All three locations sell only stock physically placed into that location's Flower/Myco counters. Their passive sales do not consume stock from the main Warehouse.
17. World Stock Menu
Tap the ๐ icon beside the inventory bag, then select Retail Store, Thailand or Amsterdam. The screen shows the Flower and Raw Myco currently stocked at that location. Use it before loading the Retail Van to decide where to restock.

21. Recommended Beginner Route
- Grow Northern Lights and Liberty Caps.
- Learn both harvest rooms and the Production Room.
- Complete early parcel orders for cash, XP and reputation.
- Visit Stash Bear and buy several empty jars and tins.
- Visit Stay Plugged and build a reserve of branded packaging.
- Always put the correct branded packaging in your inventory before picking up Flower or Pre-Rolls.
- Stock surplus Flower and Raw Myco in Retail for passive income.
- Buy grow, production and business upgrades.
- Introduce manager automation as workload increases.
- Save toward Thailand approaching Level 80.
- Use Thailand as a higher-value retail outlet.
- Progress to Level 120, unlock the final strains and purchase Amsterdam.
22. Parcels vs Retail Stock
Do not automatically send every harvest to passive retail. Your inventory may also be needed for customer parcels, Smokey Vibes, production and Warehouse reserves. Balance immediate order needs against keeping Retail, Thailand and Amsterdam supplied.
23. Packaging Strategy
Treat packaging as normal business inventory. Rather than buying one jar when an order appears, buy batches of empty jars/tins, brand several for your most-used strains and replenish reserves before they run out.
A practical routine is: buy empty packaging โ brand batches at Stay Plugged โ keep branded reserves โ take the correct packaging into your inventory โ then pick up the matching Flower or Pre-Rolls.
24. Controller Support
Compatible game controllers can be used. Typical defaults are Left Stick for movement/steering, Button 0 for interaction, Button 7 for accelerator and Button 6 for brake/reverse. Controller mappings can be changed in Controller Settings.
25. Recover Feature
If your character or vehicle becomes stuck, use RECOVER when available to move the player and/or vehicle to a safe position.
26. Saving
Higher Things stores progress locally in the browser, including cash, XP, level, upgrades, inventory, packaging, parcels, shop stock, international unlocks and vehicles. Avoid clearing browser site data if you want to keep your save.
27. Quick Reference
Flower parcel: grow โ matching branded jar into inventory โ pick up Flower โ pack.
Pre-Roll parcel: manufacture โ matching branded tin into inventory โ pick up Pre-Rolls โ pack.
Packaging: Stash Bear โ empty jars/tins โ Stay Plugged โ brand them โ stockpile them.
Passive income: stock Flower/Raw Myco into Retail, Thailand or Amsterdam counters.
Remote stock: tap ๐.
International stock run: load Retail Van โ Home Airport โ board plane โ van and cargo follow โ GPS to Coffee Shop โ stock counters.
28. The Core Higher Things Loop
At higher levels, the challenge becomes managing the entire supply chain: growing raw materials, deciding what to manufacture, maintaining packaging reserves, fulfilling parcels, stocking retail locations, automating repetitive work and expanding internationally.
Grow it. Make it. Brand it. Pack it. Move it. Sell it. Expand it.
